Husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here for our 13 year anniversary.
Went in on a Saturday afternoon with my kiddos. There was 1 waitress working in the family room. We sat down and waited almost 10 minutes for her to come take our drink order. The waitress went and got the drink orders from a table that came in after us. The waitress went and got their drink order and when she went to their table to drop off their drinks she spilled a full glass of water in one of the womens lap and then spilled her tray that had the other drinks on it. After all that we put our menus back and got up and walked out.
The absolute best fish under $20 in the tri-state region!!!! Light beer "batter", impeccably seasoned whitefish. Lightly crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside and there's plenty of options for every appetite. From baskets to platters, dinners and more!! The menu has a broad range of options for every palette. Burgers, steaks, ribs, sandwiches... you name it, they probably have it!! The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are plentiful!! Their gravy is out of this world!!! I haven't had a better gravy anywhere in this country and I've dined all over the nation!! The décor is sparse and outdated and the salad bar is woefully inadequate, but that's a small price to pay for the best fish around on a budget!! I highly recommend getting the mashed potatoes and that amazing gravy for a side!! They have a full bar but there's a family dining room in the front, so come with family or come for drinks and some grub with your buddies....the food's the same delicious fair either way.
Food good service it not bad will come back.
The food we had was very good. I had the tenderloin sandwich (pictured for size reference, bun is a normal size), and my wife had the fish sandwich.
