Got sick in the time it took me to drive from this restaurant to the Wal-Mart across the street. Terrible experience. Waitress spilled drinks on the table and didn't even try to clean them up, just left the mess sitting on the table and we cleaned it ourselves. We had stacks of dishes on our table before the waitress came to clear them. It was only two people at our table and there were maybe ten people in the restaurant total. The food was all dried out on the hot side, nothing was marked to let you know what it was. Tator tots and fried shrimp were mixed together in the same bowl. The lettuce was half wilted and there were rotten tomatoes out for the customers. All in all a horrible experience and we won't be going back.

Chicken was not cooked showing the manager just like it came from the butcher but was deep fried in batter
McDonald's is better and way cheaper. Now don't get me wrong I absolutely love Ponderosa but this one we stopped at in Auburn a huge disappointment. Will not return. There's nothing to choose from very little selection. You want Ponderosa find a better one they have let this one go.
We won't be back. We were excited to find a childhood favorite restaurant on our trip. First The prices are high but we decided to stay and try it out again. The salad bar had several choices and the deserts were good but the rest of the quality of the buffet was very disappointing. My husband ordered steak tips which came to the table with a gray tint. He had one bite and returned it because it tasted funny. I am giving an extra star because the waitress was very sweet and the manager refunded my husband's meal. Unfortunately my husband didn't eat and what I ate was far from great.
