Terrible experience! My father died on June 1st 2012 and I had his headstone paid in full on July 17th 2012. My fathers headstone is still not up. I was told 6 to 8 weeks after I it was paid in full. It is now 11/19/2012. This company does not return phone calls and tell nothing but lies. Im currently have my lawyer on them to get it done. Who needs all this extra stress when you are morning a loved one. Where is his empathy!!!! I will NEVER refer this place to my worst enemy.
My father worked for this clown and after a few years of not completing ANY work in a timely fashion quit because of all the complaints...... However my father purchased a headstone, and was all prepaid way before my father passed away on February 15, 2016..... Today is May 26,2017 and my family had to get another company to finish engraving my parents stone for his end date.... If he will do this to one of his employees, I think you have an idea just how bad this guy is.... Repeated excuses if he answers, no call backs, over 15 months of ADDED anger and grief.... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I am leaving one star rating because it won't let me leave all the stars empty! Terrible experience, it's been 8 months and still no headstone! Was told it would be done two weeks from now for the last 4 months. He does not return phone calls. Also had to make a surprise visit to Auburn just so I could talk to someone. Do not do business here!!!!!!! Wish I would have seen these reviews before giving him money!
DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE A STAR Jeff is the worst to deal with or attempt to deal with! This was the second time we used this company the first in 1990 and there was some time delayed but nothing like this experience. We ordered our son headstone in July of 2011 and was told that if we pd an extra fee that we would have the stone ready by his birthday Oct 2011..so we did and to our worst nightmare it didn't happen... As I had driven 2 hrs to the store several times and called I was never informed that this wasn't going to happen as promised. He would never return our calls that why I drove so many times and he didn't even refund our money for the expediting fees. When I was able to talk with him nothing more than a bunch of BS.. I dealt mostly with his shop guy...great and compassion fellow who understood the emotional connection that the headstone meant for our family and really worked with us and he is the one who got the stone pushed through and completed to our blessing. But he is no longer with this company as he left shortly afterwards. So if your looking for a company make sure to run from this one at least the Auburn division and save yourself some undo/unneeded stress and disappointment and possibly a financial lost.
I ordered a simple marker in 2013. It is mid October 2014 and still nothing...I've been told twice they 'misspelled' something and reordered. This was only after calling several times a day, leaving messages, and finally getting someone to answer (not a returned call from messages). I'd love to resolve this issue....if I could only get a call back. Terrible way to conduct business. Two thumbs down.
